Overview:
Through my work at Amazon, I spearheaded the procurement and management of our Learning Management System (LMS), The Academy, utilizing Docebo to streamline and optimize the learning experience for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
LMS Administration: Managed the LMS of The Academy in collaboration with other program managers, ensuring a smooth distribution of educational content across different business categories.
Uploading SCORMs: By ensuring that SCORM packages are integrated seamlessly, I've helped maintain a smooth learning experience while accurately tracking learner progress.
Content Maintenance: Regularly updated and maintained the LMS modules, ensuring that all courses were well-categorized, current, and easily accessible. This involved periodic reviews and updates to keep the content up to date.
Engagement Metrics: Monitored various engagement metrics through Docebo, such as course completion rates and time of completion. This data was crucial in assessing the effectiveness of the courses and implementing improvements based on robust, data-driven decisions.
Technical Coordination: Worked closely with the IT team to address and resolve any technical issues with the LMS. This ensured that all users experienced smooth and uninterrupted access to learning resources.
Outcomes:
Implementing badging strategies has been key to boosting learner motivation, leading to increased engagement and course completion rates. The addition of badges, which recognize milestones like completing the Start track, has encouraged learners to stay engaged and share their achievements on professional networks.
In order to make data-driven decisions, I regularly track metrics such as course completion rates and time spent per module to improve the effectiveness of the training content. If a drop in engagement is observed, I make swift adjustments to either the content or delivery format, optimizing the learner experience.
Finally, by coordinating with IT and providing support, I ensure that our LMS runs efficiently, addressing any technical issues that could impact the learner journey. This comprehensive management of the LMS has contributed to a 35% improvement in training effectiveness (based on test scores).
